Welcome to Lionville Elementary
School, one of ten elementary schools in the Downingtown Area School District.
Lionville was completely remodeled in 1997 to a
“state of the art” learning facility. We are fortunate to have such a
wonderful school.
Our school newsletter, Pride’s School News, is posted on the
school website and sent home monthly by request during the school year to
keep everyone aware of the many exciting events planned for our school. To
access the newsletter click on “About” and then click on “Pride’s News”. All
newsletters for the year are posted. A calendar of activities is also listed
on our school’s homepage. The School Handbook and the DASD Code of Student
Conduct are now available on the DASD and Lionville
websites for persons with internet access. Hard copies are available upon
request.
The LE Blast, Home & School's email process for sending important
information to parents and staff, is available to persons who are signed up
on the website. If you would like to receive this information for the 08-09
school year, please sign up by going to the Lionville homepage (http://dasd-le.org) and click on the
link at the bottom of the page. Enter your name and email address on the
form. Make sure you check the box for permission to have email sent to this
address and then Submit. Interested persons must sign up each year.
Another feature of our website is that reminders or additional
information about school activities can be accessed through the “News” link
on our school’s homepage to the “Backpack” link. Thanks for visiting our website.
