the Library of Congress and indexes spoken words, sound recordings, still and
moving images, prints, maps, and sheet music that document the American
experience.

articles, prescreened websites, tables, fact boxes, maps, flags, photographs,
illustrations, thousands of full-text periodical articles, and many other
features. It has broad coverage in the arts, science, geography,
history, philosophy, religion, sports, and technology. The "American
Journal" section links to many worldwide
current event stories.
