What is the
Birthday Book Club?

Each year the Pickering Valley Elementary
School sponsors a Birthday Book Club. Books are purchased and then are presented
to the child on their birthday. A nameplate is placed on the front inside
cover with the child’s name, birthday and year donated. It’s easy to join. Complete the form
brought home by your child or click on the appropriate link below to download
a form. Be sure to include your child’s name, birthday date, teacher’s name
and any particular interests or book titles he/she may have. Mrs. Michener
will then present the book to your child during their library class, and your
child will be the first to check the book out of the library.

What is the
Angel Book Club?
|
Pickering Valley families can have a book placed in our
library in honor of loved ones or pets. The books are presented to the child
and also have a nameplate on the front inside cover to memorialize the loved
one. All you need to do is complete a form brought home by your child or
click on the appropriate link below to download a form. Be sure to include
your child’s name, the person or pet you are honoring and any inscription you
would like on the nameplate.
